Steffen Bogen has basically always been designing boardgames.
However, it only became an actual viable pursuit once he had to meet
a demand within his own growing family. As of now, he has received
two awards from the German jury “Spiel des Jahres”: the Children’s
Game of the Year 2012 and the Family Game of the Year 2014.
He has studied the science of art and semiotics in Marburg and
Bologna and teaches the subject “Literature – Arts – Media” as a
professor at the University of Constance.
